Prayer is the life-force of our church as it connects us to the living God and also provides the foundation for everything we do as a church. There are many opportunities for you to join with others in prayer for our church, our community, our city and the nations. Here are some of them:

During 9 am and 11 am Sunday Services

During our 9 am and 11 am Sunday Services there are intercessory Prayer Teams that pray for God's blessing on our meetings. You can join one of these prayer teams by contacting Janet Brice on janetb@familycentre.org.au or 83566999 during office hours.

Men’s and Women’s Prayer Meetings

Everyone is welcome to attend these inspiring and faith-filled gatherings where we pray for the church, the world and you!
Women: from 8:30 am – 10 am Wednesdays in the Crèche: Contact Merron Spence 8352 2151
Men: from 6 am – 8 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Activity Room 1 upstairs. Contact Zane Pitt 0408 822 320

Prayer Chain

There is a prayer chain that provides prayer support to those in emergency situations (e.g. ICU, life-threatening illnesses, women in labour etc). To place a request on the prayer chain, please contact the church office.

Prayer Request / Praise Report Card

A Connect card is found in the Newsletter each week and the “comment” section is designed for anyone with a prayer request or for any testimonies of healings, miracles or God's blessings you may have experienced. This will then be channelled to the Prayer Coordinator during the week. A special prayer request form is in the Newsletter two weeks before the Acts 2 Service on the first Sunday evening of every month. Spare copies are also located at the Information Desk in the foyer.

All Church Prayer

Each month we set aside the last Thursday as a day of prayer and fasting. There is a prayer meeting for 1 hour from 12 noon in the Community Hall to pray over needs submitted and for the Acts 2 Service at 5 pm on the first Sunday of every month

There is a special prayer meeting prior to the Acts 2 Service at 4:30 pm upstairs in Activity Room 3 for Prayer Ministry Team members and others who want to join the Ministry Directors.

A couple of times a year we encourage the whole church to come together for a corporate prayer meeting here at the church for a time of focussed intercession for our community, city and nation. These times will be advertised in Church News and the Newsletter.

Apart from this there is also the opportunity to get involved in prayer through Connect Groups, Mission support groups, Youth/Children and other Ministry areas of the church.

Would you like us to pray for you?
